Mr. Williford has litigated alongside and against the top lawyers and law firms in Delaware and nationally. He has participated in the litigation of issues involving substantial economic stakes, running into the billions of dollars, and matters of national legal interest. He has also litigated disputes involving small and family businesses; while these disputes may not have the same economic stakes, they are equally (if not more) important to those involved and the firm provides attentive, high-quality representation as to those matters as well.

The firm’s practice includes the representation of parties before the Delaware Court of Chancery with respect to matters of Delaware business law, as well as the Delaware Superior and Supreme Courts, the U.S. District Court of Delaware, and other jurisdictions. The firm represents plaintiffs as well as defendants and contingent or other alternative compensation arrangements can be discussed.

Before The Williford Firm LLC, Evan O. Williford practiced corporate litigation with Richards, Layton & Finger, P.A. and then Bouchard Margules & Friedlander, P.A., both firms recognized as leaders in the field of Delaware Court of Chancery litigation according to Chambers USA 2008. Mr. Williford attended Cornell Law School where he served as an Articles Editor on the Cornell Law Review. After law school he served as a law clerk for Chief Justice E. Norman Veasey of the Delaware Supreme Court.
